DASMARIÑAS, CAVITE – Nxled showed grit in stretches but couldn’t maintain consistency, falling to Farm Fresh in four sets, 25-22, 23-25, 19-25, 21-25, in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference at the Dasmarinas Arena on Thursday.
Chiara Permentilla led the Chameleons with 18 points, built on 17 attacks and one block, while Paola Martinez added 15 points from 12 spikes, two blocks, and 1 ace. The duo accounted for more than half of Nxled’s offensive output, keeping the team within striking distance for much of the match.
Setter Janel Maraguinot contributed 16 excellent sets, while libero Janel Delerio had 10 excellent digs. Despite these efforts, Nxled couldn’t overcome its 28 unforced errors and lagged behind in attack points, 40-58.
The Chameleons took the first set with a late surge but struggled to close out the next three as Farm Fresh tightened its defense and leaned on its import scoring edge. Nxled’s strong start showed promise, but the team will need to clean up its errors and sustain its intensity to notch wins in this tough conference.
Leading the Foxies was import Helene Rousseaux, who erupted for 38 points off 30 spikes, 3 blocks, and 5 aces, along with 13 digs and 8 receptions. Alohi Robins-Hardy also delivered 22 excellent sets and 9 digs, while Trisha Tubu contributed 10 points.
