It was a night of cheers, music, and unforgettable moments as Akari and P-pop sensation BINI filled The Tent at Enderun Colleges with energy last September 16. More than just a meet & greet, the event celebrated the launch of eight new Akari x BINI fans and gave back to the ever-supportive Blooms who continue to power the nation’s girl group.
Adding to the excitement, the day also came with big news for Blooms everywhere: BINI was announced as the first Filipino group set to perform at Coachella, making the celebration even more meaningful.
Moreover, what made the evening even more memorable was how Akari athletes shared the spotlight with BINI, proving that passion knows no boundaries, whether on the court or the stage.
The pre-show alone had fans buzzing. Akari Chargers Fifi Sharma and Kamille Cal charmed the crowd with a heartfelt duet of TJ Monterde’s “Palagi.” Then, the Nxled Chameleons’ Lyann De Guzman, Mayang Nuique, and Rachel Jorvina electrified the stage with a dance medley of BINI hits that had everyone singing along. The Adamson Pep Squad followed with their trademark flair, delivering a high-energy routine to BINI’s “Shagidi” that drew roars from the crowd.
The program also featured interactive games between BINI and the Akari athletes. Akari Charger Mars Alba joined BINI’s Maloi in a dance showdown to “Blink Twice.” Meanwhile, Rachel Jorvina and Mayang Nuique of the Chameleons and Fhei Sagaysay of the Lady Falcons teamed up with BINI’s Sheena, Mikha, Maloi, and Jhoana to win a round of “Shagidi.”
To cap off the evening, each team had a group photo with BINI—sharing the same special moment Blooms dream of, and showing that they, too, are fans at heart just like us.
